Cotton Cover for Bokken/Jo - Shobu
This cover is designed for transporting a single Bokken or a single Jo.
The Shobu model has similar thickness than the classic model. It comes in blue color. This cover presents a traditional motif symbolizing the term "尚武", pronounced "Shobu", meaning "fighting spirit" in English. It is a symbol that we see quite often in Budo.

Bokken/Jo Nylon Carry Bag ( 105 cm)
This bag can hold 2 weapons, from either type, Bokken and/or Jo (Jo: Judo model, maximum length 103 cm). Designed from a particularly resistant nylon composite, this weapon carry bag is water-repellent and provides great protection for your weapons. The small pocket allows to carry the Bokken's Tsuba in the same bag and the shoulder strap offers excellent comfort while traveling.

Bokken/Jo/Tanto Synthetic Leather Carry Bag ( 105 cm)
This synthetic leather carry bag is what is best for the transport of your wooden weapons. Particularly resistant to water, and having numerous reinforcements, this case is durable and protects your weapons perfectly. Specially designed for Judo weapons, this bag can hold up to 6 weapons (Jo and/or Bokken) simultaneously. With a pocket for Tsuba (guard), large and solid handle reinforced with metal and shoulder strap for great comfort during transport. And, the zipped opening facilitates the introduction of weapons.

Plastic Tsuba (guard) & Tsubadome (rubber ring) for Bokken
This plastic Tsuba (guard) is what is the most basic to symbolize the guard of the sword. Quite solid, it can absorb shocks.
Although a Tsuba does not seem essential for the Judo no Kata, it is generally used to give the wooden sword a closer aspect to the Katana. It can fits on all the bokken offered on KuSakuraShop.
The rubber ring (Tsubadome) is proposed as an option in white.

Thick Leather Tsuba & Tsubadome
This Tsuba (guard) is made of thick cow leather. Cow leather is extremely resistant and durable, providing good shock absorption. Although a Tsuba does not seem essential for the Judo no Kata, it is generally used to give the wooden sword a closer aspect to the Katana.
Moreover, as Tsuba are made from leather, a "living" material, each product will be unique. So don't be afraid of having the same Tsuba than everyone else.
The rubber ring (Tsubadome) is offered as an option in white.

Standard shape Bokken for Kata practice
The "standard" Bokken is available in red oak or white oak. It features a simple and basic finish, a flat Tsukagashira (pommel/butt), a flat Mine (spine), and a small Kissaki (tip). The wood used for these models, unlike for the model called "superior", is not specially selected. This standard model is what we recommend in general, more than enough for the practice of Kata in Judo, regardless of the practitioner's level.
The red oak and the white oak are equally solid and resilient to shocks. The absence of the contact in the Judo no Kata allows choosing either of these 2 wood essences, depending on your color and weight preferences.
