At KuSakuraShop, the values of Judo are an integral part of our philosophy and we always try to apply them on a daily basis.
The Black Friday period is always a bit special within our company because we do not want to confine ourselves to make it a purely mercantile event, we want to take the opportunity to reaffirm our humanist values, close to the ones of the Budo we support. This is why, this year, we have decided to split this event into two distinct parts through a DOUBLE FAIR! This event will take place from Thursday to Tuesday, so we can share it with as many of you as possible.

During the first part, we won't offer any discounts but, instead, we will give 15% to charities for all orders!
KuSakuraShop has been engaging with charities for several years now as we want to contribute to society and help people in need, this is our way to show respect to Budo values when we are outside the mats.
The COVID-19 situation is getting better in the most developed countries, but there are still too many peoples suffering from a lack of treatment around the world. Thus, we would like to contribute by giving 15% to both Doctors Without Borders and UNICEF! Those two organizations have support programs regarding the COVID-19 pandemics and we would be honored to be able to help them.
Please note that this first part will run until Saturday, November 27th, at 2 pm JPT.

We want also our customers to be able to enjoy our products and this event is a great opportunity to offer you some interesting deals. So, in the second part, the donations will be over and you will get 10% OFF everything!

Keen eyes may have noticed the apparition of a lot of new products on the site in the past weeks, and they are totally right!

We are now offering a full range of Nippon Kenpo products: Jacket, Pants, Gloves, Breastplates, Helmet, you'll find the full equipment you need to practice this wonderful martial art.
In our Kyudo section, we added the Rubber Yumi (bow) that will become your perfect companion for home training. It is not used as a strength training tool but as a learning tool to improve the shooting pattern. Usually, people tend to think that the rubber Yumi is used only by beginners, but advanced users also use it to check the accuracy of the Eight Stages of Shooting. Check it out on the website!

Summer is finally here, we hope that the incoming sunny days will warm you up! Dojos are starting to reopen all over the world and practice starts to go back to normal.
After several months of wait and uncertainties, we are now less than a month away from the beginning of the big event!
Yes, "the big event", because as you probably know, they are extremely touchy about their copyrights and clearly state they will sue any form of infringement, so we've decided to call it "The competition" and "The big event", so it is clear KuSakuraShop has no connection whatsoever with this event, but is still very excited about it, as we all are.

The Judo Competition will be held at the legendary Tokyo Budokan, the mythical martial arts hall originally built for the 1964 "Big Event". It was also the place where the best Judoka crossed paths during the Judo World Championships in 2019. It has been renovated in between and should now offer better than ever conditions to all competitors.
From July 24th to July 31st, more than 380 athletes will compete in 15 different events! The Handysport "Big Event" will be held from August 27th to August 29th.
During this intense week of competition, we will be lucky to see some of the best Judoka wearing our IJF Judogi. Don't miss this opportunity to support your country's athletes.
