Traditional Nippon Kenpogi - KuSakura

These Kenpogi pants without integrated protection are the standard model within KuSakura's Nippon Kenpo line. 100% designed in cotton of type # 10 and woven in Sashiko fabric, KuSakura's specialty. This process allows the Dogi to be thicker than classic models and actually closer to Judo Keikogi. It will be particularly suitable for those looking for a heavier, stronger and more durable Dogi. In addition, the "Sashiko" weaving is well known for its well-ventilated characteristic, allowing the Kenpogi to maintain a reasonable weight while providing better shock absorption.

Ittaigaita breastplate for Nippon Kempo practice. This model is available in black and white and in adult or kid size. Includes a flexible breastplate inside, allowing maximum protection. Much appreciated by Kenpo practitioners for its comfort, this breastplate is designed to be solid and durable over time.

The Nippon KempoKai mark on the chest symbolizes the eight basic principles on which the Nippon Kempo doctrine is based, the Hachi Yo (八 要).
The central Kanji 拳 (Ken), representing the general art of Nippon Kempo, surrounded by the eight founding principles:

• 心 : The heart, the soul
• 技 : the know-how,the art
• 力 : the power, the strength
• 道 : the way
• 身 : The body, the self
• 術 : the technique
• 気 : The mind
• 法 : the righteousness, the matter to obey the rules
        

This logo is optional, the breastplate can, therefore, be ordered without it.
