Available colors | 20 colors - the most popular are golden brown (kincha) and white on black belts, black and navy on white belts.
Free transcription | You can write your name in English and select a "Japanese" font, in which case we will take care of the transcription. Note that several translations exist for the same name and that we cannot accept claims. (Please use the text field to add a comment if the pronunciation is unusual. If you already have a translation, please attach a picture). We do not translate expressions, only names or words. Requests for expression translations will be ignored and refunded. Please also note that initials cannot be translated in Japanese. Consequently, they will always be embroidered in English.
Grade/Lines embroidery | Grade embroideries correspond to horizontal lines. You can order both grade embroidery AND wording/names on the same end of the belt (in that case, the lines are embroidered under the name and above the logo).
Limitations |
We embroider in Japanese and English only (no Chinese, Korean, etc.) For any special request/logo embroidery, contact us prior to your order. (Comments including such undiscussed request, will be ignored). The maximum embroidery length is 20 cm (depending on the length of the content, font size will be adapted). |

Deluxe Taikai Obi - JH23
This set of KuSakura belts is the deluxe set competitors needed to be distinguished in the eyes of the referees.
In Japan, and especially at the Kodokan, IJF blue color Judo Gi is never used in competitions. They prefer the use of a white and a red belt instead, the way it used to be before the implementation of the blue Judogi by the International Federation. The white or red belt is worn over the standard colored or black belt.
This deluxe version differs from the classic version in that its core is made of a thick cotton core similar to those in standard belts. The belt's core is filled with semi-rigid cotton on 40 cm. This part is stiffer in order to stay in place (in the back of the Judoka) while competing. On the other hand, the belt is made of soft cotton. This material makes it easy to tie it tightly so you will not lose your belt easily.
These belts are available separately (white or red).
